Cookie & Advertising Policy

This policy describes the cookies, local storage, real-time connections, and advertising technologies used by Waen Games.

1. Technologies we use

Cookies are small browser files. Local storage keeps information on your device until it is cleared. WebSocket connections carry live multiplayer events. Pixels and similar identifiers can measure advertising delivery and interactions. These technologies may be operated by Waen Games or third parties such as Google.

2. Necessary and gameplay storage

  • Session cookies maintain Google-authenticated sessions and help the portal recognize a signed-in player.
  • Local storage remembers guest or signed-in player details, display name, cosmetics, preferences, and recent room information used to reconnect or resume the interface.
  • Socket identifiers and connection data route live game events and are generally temporary.
  • Security and server logs help prevent abuse and diagnose outages.

Blocking these technologies may prevent login, saved progress, matchmaking, private rooms, or other core features from working correctly.

3. Google AdSense and advertising cookies

Some Waen Games pages display ads through Google AdSense. Google and other advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers as a result of ad serving. Google may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on visits to Waen Games or other sites, measure effectiveness, limit repeated ads, and prevent fraud. Depending on your settings, location, and consent, ads may be personalized.

4. Your choices

  • Use Google Ads Settings to control or opt out of personalized Google advertising.
  • Use browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage. This may remove guest progress, preferences, and recent-room information.
  • Where applicable law requires consent, you may refuse or withdraw consent through the consent controls presented to you.
  • Guest play avoids sending Google account profile information to Waen Games, but technical and advertising data may still be processed.

Waen Games does not currently operate a separate third-party web analytics product.
